When is Outside Ventilation needed?

During standard occupied times, outside ventilation should be set On to open the outside air damper and provide proper ventilation of the space based on the Minimum Damper Position, or on CO2 Threshold (Demand Ventilation).

Tip: When creating standard occupied/unoccupied schedules, disable Outside Ventilation during unoccupied hours to prevent cold outside air to enter the building after-hours.

Can I pre-ventilate the space prior to standard occupied hours?

Yes! During the one-hour period immediately before the building is normally occupied, a schedule entry can be created with the Fan set to On.

During this time, ventilation will be delivered based on the Minimum Damper Position.
